With over 20 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Izvernari brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and dedication to both patient care and dental education. She began her journey in dentistry with her initial License, from the prestigious Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania.
Dr. Izvernari started her career at the Dr Alexandrescu Gafencu Military Emergency Hospital in Constanta, Romania. She practiced in Constanta until relocating to California, where she furthered her education at Loma Linda University ,graduating from the International Dentist Program (IDP), Class of 2011.
Since then , Dr. Izvernari has been actively involved in dental education and patient care. From 2011 to 2024 , she served as an Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University , mentoring future generations of dentists. In recognition of her dedication and contribution ,she was promoted to Associate Professor in 2024.
Dr. Izvernari is also a proud veteran of the U.S Navy. In 2014, her exceptional professional and personal qualities earned her a place in the Navy's dental team, where she achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Outside of her professional life, Dr Izvernari is passionate about the outdoors, love to travel, and cherishes spending time with her two wonderful daughters.
